The Secret Religion

International intrigue, ancient history, mysticism, and romance are the elements of this adventure novel:Eminent historians and archaeologists from various parts of the World disappear or are kidnapped and taken to an old mansion in Kent, England.Police and Governments are baffled. There doesn’t seem to be any correlation except to a unique group who call themselves Enigma.

The plot is envisaged by this Academic GSO (Government Special Operations) funded think tank. They have access to a unique supercomputer that is still not fully developed but is capable of teaching itself.Enigma alert the GSO branch of the British secret Service and an experienced agent named Sloane is given the job of finding out what is going on. Unexcited at first, he learns that the Papal legate has assigned high priority to the case and also hired an ex-affair of Sloane’s, Ms Andrea del Forza to work on their behalf. Before Sloane can meet her, she is abducted and then, for Sloane, it becomes not only interesting but also very personal.

It appears that there are persons with inside knowledge at work on the case because Andrea’s kidnapping is followed by an attempt on Sloane’s life. A fortuitous thwarting of a robbery seems to tie in a Government minister living in Kent, but the attractive link is killed increasing Sloane’s anger.Simultaneously, elsewhere, mercenaries are being trained and armed for a specific operation.

Weapons’ stealing occurs, and a right wing organisation led by an eccentric, influential, rich and clever British Cabinet Minister is co-ordinating the discrediting and possible disestablishment of the Roman Catholic Church and other major religions.

Sloane establishes dialogue and finds himself intrigued by the cult. He also hears about possible conversion of the kidnapped scientists and translators to the New World order that is named Tammuz, a very powerful and old established Secret order that has existed for millennia. Mercenary and Tammuz operations centres are established in an underground area on an island named Giglio some 70 miles from the ‘Citta del Vaticano’ and in the original area of Eastern central Turkey.

Other mercenaries infiltrate the Vatican preparatory to the raid to get secret documents from the vaults and get the “proof” of the Catholic control dogma, and adapted absorption of myths and symbology of other early pre Christian doctrines. Also proving suppression of the Gnostic Gospels and issue of only controlled texts to the laity. By numerology the Pope is purported, and then proved to be, the Anti-Christ, again giving the cult more credibility.Sloane is torn between killing the heads of the cult or for reasons made clear only at the end, supporting the cult. Andrea helps him to remember his true path so when Tammuz followers carry out rituals in Turkey the Cult invoke the Nephilim or Angels of God who are found to exist led by their supreme deity.

The Cult nearly sacrifices Andrea, but Sloane in a spectacular finale saves the day. Some important papers and the main perpetrators escape to face the adventures in the sequel volumes in the Trilogy. Sequels: - “The Book of Enoch – The Apocolypse Child,” followed by “The Nephilim Gene”

The wait is over. Fraser Sloane is here...move over Bond! Thrilling and entertaining, like the experience of a Dan Brown epic...
